Oh Wow!!
My hubby was playing on youtube and came accross Nothing Else Matters.
We were completely speechless after searching for and hearing more of your music. We unfortunately don't have the time to practice and perfect our own music, but will always have time to listen to others play.
There are now four CD's we will be adding to our collection!
Any chance of adding Australia to your tour??

I got your web address after expressing interest in your music and I just wanted to say hello and that I love your music. I just bought your Rockfluence CD for my fiance. I enjoyed some of your videos on youtube. You are a fantastic piano man...and the haircut is much better in the short version in terms of your imag...for doing special jobs and events...or promotions...we have a very special piano produced in Denmark. It is designed by one of our famous designers who made the PH lamps...and made with a Bösendorfer frameset....you should be the promotor of this piano...it's a very expensive piano that cost around 130.000 USD....the design is brilliant...I have the contact info to the owners of the brand...if you are interested......

How can one get the sheet for your songs? Didn't find a shop or something where to buy it. Would be so glad if I were able to play Nothing else matters or My immortal. It's a dream. You're playing wonderful.

SCOTT'S REPLY: Thanks Nish! While many of my original compositions are available as sheet music, I can't release the music for any of the rock covers for copyright reasons. If anything changes, I'll post it here on my web site, and send out notice to my email list.

I love your music! Please tell me there's a possibility you might publish the sheetmusic to your arrangement of "My Immortal" soon. I, and probably at least 10,000 other people who have seen your youtube video, would give my eye teeth to have that! Is it a possibility?

REPLY: Thanks for your message Kara. The short answer is that I can't release it for copyright reasons. I don't know if I'll ever be able to, but am trying to get permission. If/when it becomes available, I'll post it to my web site, and send a notice to my email list. And you're right, A LOT of people are interested, and I think it's at least 10,000 people, maybe much more worldwide. So believe me, I want to make that music sheet available as much as you want me to!

Hello! I came upon some of your music in a general search. It was interesting because I just was listening to a playlist (with various songs by different artists), and not paying much attention to what songs were playing, until all of the sudden I heard something really recognizable in piano music: "In the End" by LP. I was like "What?" It was soooo cool! I really, REALLY love "Sweet Child O' Mine," too. You play so wonderfully. Keep up the great work! You're an inspiration (since I am learning piano and have played a little for a while). Keep it up!

I'm VERY picky when it comes to music. You totally nailed it man, keep on rockin'

Hey, I just wanted to say that your music is really outstanding. I am 16, and, I love playing piano. I am self taught and have played for three years now. I alos love Metallica and think its amazing how you can perform such great versions of their suff. Yet you play so delicately in songs like the final countdown which is also an amazing song. I use you as my inspiration whenever I feel that playing piano is not for me. So thanks for everything and keep up the work dude. =]

We met you at the Roseville, CA mall in 2003 during our visit to my parents' home in Sacramento. We just rediscovered your music after numerous moves to Houston and then to Iowa. Our family loves your take on the piano! We will be visiting again this Thanksgiving and hope to see you at the Valley Fair Mall in Santa Clara. We homeschool our four children (ages 17, 15, 10 and9) and they love to listen to your music while studying! God has truly given you a special gift. my husband and me saw heard you play at santa anita mall yesterday while we were at walking com and the way you play the piano and the passion that you have for music just captivates your listeners. we got 2 of your cds, rockfluence and Tahoma and they are both very good. my 6 mos. baby in my tummy particularly reaponds and kicks to your upbeat songs. I particularly like
Song in my Heart,A simple refelction,Interlude from your Tahoma album. Actually, I like all your compositions and whats more inspiring is your being a christian.I noticed that different aura, glow and interaction you have with people when we had a chance to chat with you for a while yesterday and I told you, I wish I play the piano like you. You have inspired me to go back practicing my piano skills and ill try to practice everyday, just like you said.. more power to your other upcoming albums and may you continue to share your musical gift to others that our God has given you.God bless you and your wife and family and to God all the praises and glory for making you so gifted. im sure glad we went to the mall yesterday. we have to purchase your other albums and share to our friends your musical abilities. ispite your success and accomplishments, may you keep your feet always firmly grounded and your heart always looking up and praising our God.

My name is Taylor, and I am a 16 year old male.
My mother purchased your "Winter Journey" CD, and I must tell you - I love it. The music is truely a work of art. Carol of the Bells has to be my favorite.

Believe it or not, listening to your music has insired me to learn the piano. With the help of the library, I am steadily teaching myself. I was wondering if it were possible to purchase sheet music from you? I hope that I may be able to play at least one of your songs by Christmas.
Thank you very much.

DAEREST SCOTT, WHILE IN THE MIDDLE OF LOOKING FOR A CELL PHONE AT VINTAGE FAIR MALL, I HEARD MUSIC. I WALKED TO THE RAILING AND SAW A PIANO BEING PLAYED. AT THAT MOMENT I FELL IN LOVE. I FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU, WITH THE PIANO, I DON'T THINK 'PLAYING THE PIANO', IS APROPRIATE. I THINK THAT THE PIANO WAS CREATED BY GOD, AND PLAYED BY MAN TO TRY AND CAPTURE GOD'S VERY CRATION IN NOTES ON PAPER.WHEN I HEAR YOUR MUSIC, I CAN SEE TAHOMA. 'CAUSE SOMETIMESYOUR HEART AND SOUL GET TOO FULL, AND YOU SIMPLY HAVE TO PUT THEM ON PAPER ANY WAY YOU CAN . SAVANAH R. S.

I had never heard of you until I was lucky enough to visit Valley Fair on one of the days you were performing a long time ago (I think it was the day you took that picture in the photos section) and I bought your CDs on the spot. I gave Pianos & Woodwinds to my mom as a gift, and had you send Tahoma to my dorm room. I loved Tahoma so much that I ripped it to my Xbox hard drive (and now my Xbox360, too) so I am able to play it as a custom soundtrack in my videogames! You'd be amazed at how many of my college buds ask me if they can borrow Tahoma. Everyone that gets to hear you thinks that you are an incredibly talented pianist, and a genious composer. I didn't think that it was possible for someone to write original solo piano music this good anymore. You're gonna be BIGTIME someday, my friend; it HAS TO happen! As soon as I have the cash to spare, I will be ordering Winter Journey and Rockfluence; I know I'll love them. Thank you for your amazing art; keep 'em comin'!

Hi! I saw your performance at Vacavile, and was in awe of the energetic style you use and such power and speed too. I remember you playing a song which I believe was called Soul of the Storm. I'm a thunder storm fanatic and that particular piece really cried out to me, and I was wondering if you have any sheet music out for that song yet. I appologize if there was a link or something I simply didn't see, but I'd love to learn how to play that one.
thank you

Scott,
I attended your Vacaville concert last Saturday and was just absolutely blown away by your performance (along with the performance of David Nevue and David Lanz of course!). Your energy took my breath away! Your talent is simply outstanding! Having traveled all the way from Michigan to see this concert, it certainly was the high point of my trip to California! I left there with two of your Rockfluence CDs. This recording is brilliant in my opinion!.
Thanks again for such an amazing performance!!! ...and for taking time out after the concert to say hello. I'll be looking out for your future recordings for sure....

I don't ever recall encountering an induavidual with so much musicality to offer. The modern world and material society needs more people with original thoughts and talent. The fact that you see colors when you play music is an amazing thing, I never thought I would meet a person who would feel the way I do when I play. Its amazing to finally see another person who speaks your music language, it was truelly an honor to meet you, and converse about music on a level which I can't with anyone else. Please don't stop and continue making a difference and beautiful music for the world to hear, we all know we need it.

Hi Scott! I was shopping in the Galleria Mall in Roseville before Christmas and heard you playing. It just sent chills down my spine. I have always absolutely loved piano (my dad plays) and especially piano in rock music so I have enjoyed your Rockfluence CD so very much! It brings back so many good memories of growing up. I hope to be able to make it to one of your upcoming concerts in the area and tell you in person who much I enjoy your music. I also hope to pick up all of your cd's in the very near future. while looking for "Christmas Music" for my adult son, I found "Winter Journey". After listening, I went back and bought another copy. All who have heard it this season, fell in love.

Not a bad thing to have happen, eh?

Thanks a manx for sharing your work.

My teenage daughter met Scott in a mall and brought home one of his CD's. We pass it back and forth between vehicles. When it's my turn to have the CD I crank it all the way up on my way to work and back. It's all I want to listen to. There is so much passion in Scott's music. I think it's time we buy several CD's that is why I'm on this site in the first place. I'm thinking of buying several CD's to play at work on the night shift for my patients who want to listen to music. Music can be very soothing and healing for the very sick. Well done!

Greetings!

I first heard the notes floating from his piano at Vintage Faire in Modesto last year during the holidays. I bought Winter Journey and you were kind enought to sign it too. Your music is incredibly uplifting and inspriations. Merely having the music on in the car or at home gives the day that extra little something that I wish everyone could enjoy. Like Scott, my muscical roots are in AOR and I simply can't wait to receive Rockfluence. Please accept my gracious thanks for making music a family can listen to and uplift us at the same time. God Bless...

I really enjoyed Winter Journey as I drove back to San Francisco from Yosemite, recently. Tahoma should be equally inspiring, just like the Mountain. As a fellow hiker and mountain climber (summitpost.org), I can understand the inspiration that one receives when on the trail in the wilderness, especially when finally reaching the summit.

PS: Sierra is really special and should be included, somehow, in your next collection.

I'm so glad I met you at the Westfield mall in San Jose on Oct. 1, 2005(I was wearing a starfish pendant and we had a discussion about turtles).

I'm getting married in March 2006 and will be playing Song in My Heart at the reception. Thank you for such beautiful and inspiring music!

I'm doing my best to spread the word about your music. I pre-ordered the ten pack so I have plenty to give out. My mom wants one too. She is a piano teacher and wants to share your CD with her students.

It's so refreshing to listen to your music. I love it that you thank your wife and God in the liner notes of your CD's. I'm LDS and we highly value God and family. I love rock & roll/hard rock but I have to be careful in what I choose to listen to because so much of it is anti-God and anti-family. It's nice to meet people who love rock and yet believe in God also. Your music is a nice change from mainstream music.

Thanks for sharing your talents - and congrats on your record deal!!!

Dear Scott,
I am the high school teacher you met last Monday at Modesto Mall. All week long, I have been playing the CD "Tahoma" for both my students and my children. We are inspired by ALL of the music, but especially the last selection "Soul of the Storm." I know for certain that I must purchase your other CDs as well.

Please don't stop playing or performing. When a little seven year old girl (my daughter) keeps asking for "Soul of the Storm" over and over again, I know someone is doing an incredible job making music.
Many, many thanks -- and we will be keeping your music in our hearts!

God bless you,
Elise

Scott,

I saw you perform at Valley Fair by chance, as I do not live in California but rather, Wisconsin! I must say, chance is a funny thing as your piano made me turn my head and made me stand and listen for a good hour.

I remember you saying how you were influenced by classical, rock, and new age music and I can definitely pick out points where I see an influence of one or the other. I think your music is unique in that aspect, different than typical piano/new age type music. I also enjoy how you captured the essence of each of the song titles. On your Tahoma cd, Swiftwater is my favorite followed by Dance in my Heart.

Although this is a email of support, I hope you are open to a small constructive criticism. I do not claim to be an expert on playing the piano at all so please take my comment with a grain of salt. While I saw you performing in the mall, I noticed that you hardly looked down at the piano while you were playing, but rather kept your head up and looked around. While it is excellent that you are able to play the music so well that you do not have to look at the keys for extended periods of time, I found it to be distracting to watching you perform. I personally think that if you spent the majority of the time playing a song looking at the keys/piano, it would make the music, and your performance stand out even more. However, I do realize that you must look up from time to time to see if anyone was coming to look at your table and whatnot. Your body movements (upper torso/head) while playing were right on. Enough to look into the music, but not enough to make you look like you're having spasms. ^_^

I thank you for the opportunity to listen to your music and I sincerely hope that you will be coming out with more cds and songs in the future. Would you happen to be releasing sheet music for Tahoma sometime? Swiftwater, Dance in my Heart, and Positive Attitude seem really fun to play. Until then, play us another tune piano man!

Hi Scott,

I first heard you playing at the Valley River Mall in Eugene Oregon about a month ago, and I have to say that your music literally made me stop in my tracks and walk back to the beautiful sound. Your music taps into a deep and moving level that is beyond this earthly plane. I bought your CD Tahoma and listen to it often. I makes me smile every time I turn it on. You are a true and rare talent. Thank you for sharing your gift. I wish you continued success with your music and family.
